• Whether its selling out shows at The House Of Blues on the Sunset Strip, backing up international reggae stars from Jamaica,  or running a succesful independent recording studio in the San Fernando Valley… it’s hard NOT to notice the impact the Sure Shot Rockers have had on the California music scene in recent years.  The rockers are known for their massive horn arrangements, conscious lyrical trio, dubby drum n‘ bass, and progressive piano & guitars.  From San Diego to Humboldt and everywhere in between, The rockers have performed for thousands at festivals, clubs, bars, parties & theatres.  This is the bands 2nd studio record. The album was produced & engineered by Nathan  Kipp  who also  plays  bass in the band.  Nathan Kipp has produced recordings with artists such as Papa Michigan, Sizzla Kalonji, Lutan Fyah, Ranking joe, Admiral Tibet, Judah Eskender & many more… Along with working aside veteran reggae engineer, Scientist [Hopeton Brown].  Other engineering credits on the record include Lewis Richards [Sublime, The Dirty Heads] of 17th st. studios in Newport Beach, CA & Grammy nominated engineer Anthony Kronfle [Damian Marley, Cee Lo Green] of Nightbird studios in Hollywood, CA. With  a  focus  on  roots  reggae,  the  band  delivers  a  sound  that  is both culturally and  musically  diverse  (a direct  reflection of  the  size and diversity of the  eight-member group).  The  always strong and  sometimes sweet  lyrics from lead vocalists  Bellywize  and   Porque  Si    combine    politically    and    spiritually     pertinent themes with words   of  love  and   harmony.  These powerful   messages,   when    integrated   with   the   rich    rhythmic  arrangements   and  solid  horn  lines  found throughout the album,  create  an incredibly  unique sonic  tapestry  that is unlike  anything else  in  its  genre.
